ECONOMIC BENEFITS THROUGH EMPLOYMENT

The pilgrim site, even at the very preparatory phase would engage hundreds of thousands of artisans and laborers, artists and engineers, planners and developers into its own labor market for their benefits.  Its economic benefits through employment would touch have a ripple effect to thousands of families consequently.

It is projected that the shrine would accommodate as much as 1,200,000 pilgrims, retreatants and devotees every year to honor Mary at the massive shrine together with a MonteMaria oratory of the Blessed Virgin and the Marian complex to be built along the slope of the mountain. While it offers spiritual renewal and social development initiatives, the labor demand to maintain the Marian complex and services for the pilgrims necessitates large employment opportunities primarily to the people of the localities and to others at large.  Job generations or creations for the benefit of the jobless would boost economic stability to the people.

HEALTHCARE SERVICES

The healthcare services are foremost directed for the benefit of the poor who due to being marginalized and deprived of the access to medical care have been vulnerable to a lot of ills and diseases.

Public hospital and clinics for primary care of world-class standards will be built at the site.  It would offer education for medical profession and trainings for future health workers.  It would offer systems of the eastern and western medical services.

The healthcare services will be available also for others both in the region and the nation.  There would be medical-dental mission even to far flung provinces and poor communities.
