Fr. Fernando always stresses that it is God, through the Holy Spirit and the Blessed Virgin, who is using him as an instrument of healing. He is but the channel of the God’s healing grace directed to the people.

MonteMaria, Fr. Fernando said, is a place divinely chosen from all eternity for the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Poor so that the Filipino nation can experience and see healing and that the poor regains their dignity and respect they deserve as God’s children. The healing is directed towards the total dimension of the person.

Healing is salvation. To experience the healing grace of the Lord is to proclaim his goodness and love. And healing for everyone is the sole desire of the Lord. It is in the spirituality of healing that one is connected with God. Only those who are spiritually healed can be life-giving. In MonteMaria, everyone who encounters God in the experience are the life-givers in return. It is a place that gives life to people and transform them as life-givers.
